50 years ago 2 young men a Mr William Conway and Mr Nicholas Cooke put together a bunch of lads and went off and formed a rugby club, a lot has happened since and this is where we appeal to everyone out there who has any information or pictures of the past, news clips or stories, we have been very lucky that John Hogan has agreed to put together what will be an account of the previous 50 yrs through stories pictures with some detail of the highs and lows. On Thursday evening 1st of August at 8.00 pm John will be in the club house to meet people who may have stories to tell so everyone is invited on the evening as we look forward to hearing yere tales.
Our pre-season starts this evening at 7.00 p.m. sharp and includes all adult players from 18 upwards , this is an excellent opportunity for all to get a good start for the season ahead to work with our forwards backs and s/c coaches. Also if they’re players out there who would like to experience All Ireland league rugby come along and be welcomed to a great family atmosphere.
It’s that time of the year again and Bruff RFC in conjunction with Munster Rugby are holding the Summer Camp from Monday 8th – Friday 12th July.
The camp takes place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9:30am and 1:30pm.
The cost is €85 per child. Additional children from the same family can attend for the discounted rate of €75 per child. Check out the club website for additional details.
