Coupled with the visit of the Irish Caravan and Camping club to Bruff RFC for their Rally this coming weekend, The 6 nations trophy and the Triple crown trophy are making their first of two visits this year to Bruff RFC on Saturday between 11:00 am and 12:00 midday for photos. There may be a surprise guest or two along with them so why not make your way over and join us for the hour before the kick-off to the Lions game. There will be a huge crowd around to welcome them and we intend to present our fabulous U13 Squad with their North Munster Cup medals on the day as well.
There are still some of the season ticket allocation left for this match if anyone is interested.
K.O. @ 19:45 on Friday Night.
Contact the ticket line to get your hands on them.
We are not purchasing any tickets for this game.
Tickets can be bought at Thomond Park or on Ticketmaster.
Ouch, that hurt.. Munster Outmunstered.
That was rough, I’m just about getting my head around it now. Munster were, for want of an easy way to put it into words, “Defended off the park”.
It had all the potential hallmarks of a great game, The “Lion King Vs. The “Renaissance Man” but it just didn’t live up to expectations. That Leinster defence was just awesome. Even though Brian O’ Driscoll’s renaissance started earlier in the year during the six nations, I still wouldn’t have given him Man of the match. The Leinster Back Row deserved it en masse in my opinion. Jennings and Elsom were just unbelievable on the deck. Even with the onslaught I was reasonably confident at half time that we were going to come out and turn the screw in the second half but it was just not to be. That intercept from O’ Gara’s pass was like a dagger in the middle of the Munster Chest.
Well done Leinster, you deserved every single bit of it for that performance on the day.
Keep your nerve now lads, you’re as close as you have ever been to making history.
When My soul recovers I’ll get some photos up.
