The title just about says it all really.
Next season sees the return of last years International club team captain and former Garryowen captain, Peter Malone to Bruff R.F.C. joining current backs coach Eoin Cahill as forwards player/coach.This is a new departure for the club in having a dedicated forwards and backs player coaching team and I would like to welcome Peter on his return and wish Both Peter and Eoin the very best for next season.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Eugene Murnane for three of the best years I have ever had at this club. His work ethic, his input, the respect for players that he has and the respect that the players have for him. are second to none, he has had a major input into the sport of rugby in south Limerick in his post as YDO for Bruff, he has brought the game of Rugby and tag-rugby to over 19 schools over the last three years with four of these schools having Junior or Senior cup teams for the very first time. As I stated in the interview I conducted with him earlier in the year, he is one of the most affable people I have ever dealt with and I wish him all the very best in his future coaching career and his future life wherever both may take him. Talking to Bruff Captain Cathal O’ Regan this morning, he wishes to reiterate the respect that the players as a whole have for Eugene and again wishes to say that he and the players as a whole have enjoyed the time and the work that they have spent with him and that they wish him the very best into the future.
Again it’s onwards and upwards in Division 2 next season.
