After spending a very tough day on Friday on the pitch in Wigan training with former G.B. Rugby League and Northern England Union and premiership player with Orell, Twin code Dave Lyghn and our own Derry and Eugene, the first XV completed a clean sweep of their games in the three way competition on Saturday last against some very stiff opposition from Wigan and Warrington teams with 8-0, 5-0, and 11-0 wins.
I have been asked specifically to convey Many, many thanks for the fabulous hospitality from the Wigan R.U. club and for the use of their facilities, they couldn’t have been nicer I’m told.
Well done to the Michéal, Eugene, Willie and all the lads on a very successful tour.
